Our community gardens provide fresh produce for local food banks while creating green spaces for neighborhood enjoyment. Volunteers help with planting, maintenance, and harvesting throughout the growing season, fostering sustainable practices and food security in our community.
Last year, our gardens produced over 2,500 pounds of fresh produce that was distributed to families facing food insecurity.

"Volunteering with BetterTogether has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. The community garden program has taught me so much about sustainable growing while allowing me to help provide fresh food to those who need it most. I've made wonderful friends and feel a real sense of purpose in my contribution."
"As a mentor in the youth program, I've seen firsthand how consistent positive influence can change a young person's trajectory. The support from the BetterTogether team makes it easy to make a real difference. My mentee has improved academically and gained confidence, and I've grown as a person through this meaningful relationship."
"The Senior Companion program has been a blessing. I visit Mrs. Wilson weekly, and our friendship has grown so much over the past year. She looks forward to our visits, and honestly, so do I! We share stories, play cards, and sometimes just enjoy quiet company. It's amazing how such simple interactions can bring so much joy to both our lives."
"I started volunteering to give back to my community, but I've received so much more in return. The skills I've developed and the connections I've made have been invaluable both personally and professionally. BetterTogether provides excellent training and support, making it easy to jump in and contribute meaningfully, even with a busy schedule."
